                      Contraindications:

The brace should not be used if:
Any of the pain in the arm has an ulna nerve component.
The skin is broken under the adhesion sites of the brace.
The wearing of the brace increases the pain experienced.
The adhesive patches produce an allergic reaction; itchy skin, redness. Small test patches are provided in the brace kit if there are any concerns regarding allergic reaction.

                      Precautions:

Care should be taken when wearing the brace around machinery.

The brace must be worn under a loose fitting sleeve when working around moving machinery.

The strap should be un-clipped every hour or so to avoid stiffening of the elbow.

The brace strap should be un-clipped very hour or so while the arm is by the side. While un-clipped the elbow should be bent and fully straightened several times.
